Sandra Caruba
Sandra Caruba received her JD in 1987 from the University of Chicago Law School. She recently opened an office in Santa Cruz, where her practice concentrates on business and consumer bankruptcy. She also teaches Bankruptcy and Business Organizations at Monterey College of Law.
Before moving to California in 2007, Ms. Caruba was an Assistant Professor in the Commercial Law Department at the University of Auckland, where she also earned an LLM with First Class Honors. She has published research on Chinese and international commercial law topics.
Prior to moving overseas, Ms. Caruba was Senior Counsel with Bank One in Chicago for 17 years. She is a member of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association, the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Central Coast Foreclosure Collaborative, and the
Democratic Women’s Club of Santa Cruz County.
